"A boy goes on a fun adventure through varies locations discovering his size in comparison to the things around him in the world. During this discovery he comes across his friends and even some wild animals. He acknowledges how cool it is to be big using rhyming comparisons of different things during his exploration journey. Through this experience, he builds up his self-esteem and embraces who he is and how his size does not make him different, instead being big as can be makes him unique."

Great read! Absolutely wonderful story
I purchased for my 5 year old son and he LOVED the graphics of this book. The book is encouraging for young readers and I it's simple enough to teach him to read
LaShay Grant, wife and mother of two boys. As the eldest daughter of her parents, she grew up in Compton, California and attended Compton High School. After High School she attended Cal State University Dominguez Hills and earned a BA in Human Services. After a few years of not finding employment in the field of study chosen, she went back to school to earn a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. During the college years, she worked two or even three jobs to support herself being a college student. Her main job for many years was as a Special Education Assistant. Then later decided to teach as a Special Education Resource Specialist. As a former Special Education Educator & MBA, LaShay began her journey as an author because of motherhood. Her sole inspiration, Bryce was growing so fast and much taller and larger than kids his own age is how her first book titled “Big As Can Be” came to fruition. She knew he would face some adversity because of his size, as she did at a young age being much taller than her peers. She wanted him to feel confident about his size and proud to be taller than his peers. She wants all children to celebrate who they are, the body they were born in and know that the way they were created is special.
